Trattoria del Ciumbia
A Dimorestudio-designed osteria in Brera where executive chef Paolo Rollini reworks Milanese and Lombard classics for a contemporary crowd.
Trattoria Del Ciumbia sits on Via Fiori Chiari, the Brera street reshaped by the Triple Sea Food group into a small gastronomic district alongside its sister spots Vesta and Casa Fiori Chiari. Inside, dark walnut paneling, wall sconces, and mosaic floors nod to the 1960s heyday of the neighborhood's artists and bohemians, while the kitchen sends out panko-crusted mondeghili, risotto alla monzese, and a millefoglie riff on bollito misto alongside more daring plates like braised frog legs and foie gras lasagna. It's Milanese tradition read through a modern, design-conscious lens rather than a straightforward old-world trattoria.
